Will this recovery disk work on my computer?

I have a Dell E310 and it be attacked by a virus that completely wiped out the operating system. Now I'm have trouble getting Dell to send me re-covery or re-imagery disks. My friend have his disks for his Dell E510 and I'm wondering will it be okay to install that on my computer? I mean it's a short time ago the operating system.
Answers:
It will be fine, your computer will work. However, the drivers might not be correct. But your friend can download the network drivers... once he does that, and you install and seize your network nouns up, you can download the rest of the drivers from the Dell website.

BTW, I have deal with Dell's and loaded more dell computers than I attention to detail to mention. Never with any issue next to the product ID... and it WILL activate. I guarantee it. Source(s): MCP
NO. It will install and recover sure but that operating system is assigned to his computer. When you attempt to prompt windows near Microsoft it won't work.
