Reinstalling Vista minus recovery disk?

I am having trouble next to Vista, so I want to reinstall it. I don't have a recovery disk, so can I simply use the original OS disk?
Answers:
yes you can install this means of access.

might also want to boot from the OS disk and then run a repair, this works fundamentally well for Vista Source(s): http://www.computer-adviser.com

Yes, but back you begin:

1. Make sure you hold backed up everything esteemed. Reinstalling will delete everything on your computer.

2. Make sure you have a disc Key for Windows Vista. If you lost it, reinstalling will not be successful.

Other than that you should be fine.
