Using Windows recovery disks on trial system?

Hi I want to build a desktop computer. I just bought a laptop though so I don't enjoy too much money. one area I be looking to save $ surrounded by was the o.s. I own the recovery disks that I made when i got my strange computer. Can I use these and sucessfully install windows on the computer i build? gratefulness.

No, they don't have the installation programs on them. You can install Linux for free, though.
NOOOO, create Microsoft will check your os to see if it is genuine ( and installed on one apparatus only) before it let any updates to it to take place. plus, the recovery disk might own drives that are designed for the other computer and not be compatible with your trial computer.
