Vista recovery disks or drive?

I just downloaded SP2 and I want to create a recovery disc.
I hold Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit with SP2.
Last time my computer crashed System restore didnt work so I dont want to use system restore and my computer didnt come beside any kind of Vista disks, it have it installed when I bought it.
How can I create a disk that can reinstall my current Vista when my hard drive stops working? Can I do it bad a USB drive?
