Can anyone recommend a apposite FREE directory recovery programme for Linux?
I moved some digital photographs onto my netbook which has Linux as the operating system, but consequently realised I them on a different computer so I moved them back. Yes, I should enjoy copied them rather than moved them, but it's too tardy now. Anyway, the card despondently became corrupted, and when I moved the pictures put a bet on from it they ended up looking resembling this:

Would you imagine there's any approach that I could retrieve the files from my netbook, as they were on here for a short time? If so, can you recommend a program that'd do it? For some concealed reason set only to the idiots within charge, when I look up "File recovery for Linux", I find many programs which claim to be for Linux but state that they want Windows XP to operate, which is contradictory and completely stupid. If anyone can help me, I'd be incredibly grateful.
Thanks.
