File recovery assistance...?
My computer essentially died while I was working on my project and I have to shut it down with the power button. When I restarted it I chose to re-enter surrounded by safe mode. Once I get on, Excel had recovered my folder and I could open it up, but for some idea clicking either 'save' or 'save as' did nought. So I restarted my computer again and now it's gone... is within like some database that Excel or Word saves recovered files to, or is it gone?
