File Recovery contained by Linux?
I am looking for a tool that can be used in a Linux enviroment that can recover files from a bleak windows screen. Everything I have see either singular works from a windows installation or will lone recover files from linux partitions. I have need of to recover windows files from a linux installation. The easy mode, essentially, is Knoppix should show on the desktop an icon for every barrier it recognizes. right click the Windoze divider and select mount, then right click it again and you will capture something like set it to Read/Write afterwards mount the partition you want to write to and set that to read write. Then you can unfold a konqueror window and copy adjectives the files you want to the partition (or flash drive or whatever) you are sending them to and -- Bob's your uncle.
