File Recovery from Dead Drive?
My old computer died two years ago. I of late found recovery software and was wondering how I could retrieve my aged files and put them on my new computer. Please proposal step by step instructions.
Thanks

I assume your old computer died not as a result of complex drive failure. In any suitcase, install your old frozen drive onto your new computer as a slave drive. You will know how to see the files and copy them onto your new complicated drive.
I would try this approach first since it's easiest to do. If it doesn't work, then use your recovery software.
Good Luck
you enjoy not said how it died..
hard drive anticlimax
power pack failure
if it be a hdd failure after you can't get the files rear legs if the hadr drive is good consequently yes you can save the files...
to check it out put the easier said than done drive in your computer as slave drive the operating system will be disabled but you will still see the files on the drive...
consequently copy the files you need to the master tricky drive... in it's own folder...
Hi Nubia
If the drive is unmoving, there is no course of retrieving anything. If the drive had impossible sectors and still working, next YES. The software you have is used when you accidentally delete files contained by which case, it will revive them iif to be precise a better word Source(s): Computer Analyst / Programmer
