It sounds resembling windows is karpoot. Windows Restore is one of the worst programs on the bazaar. I wouldn't trust it in a fit.Sometimes when you click route one, you get an another preference to overwrite existing Windows files and sometimes you get the message you're reception. I just don't own enough courage to turn on, despite the fact that I've recovered hundreds of rugged disks over the years. What I do, is remove the disk and put it on another computer as a slave. (Alter the jumpers at the rear legs of the disk) I then copy adjectives my data files (not program files) to CD's or at worst, the other disk. I afterwards do a low level format This take much longer, but it gets rid of any boot sector virus's and empty the FAT (File Allocation Table. I then barrier the disk and copy all my notes from the CD's or host disk to the second partition (Usually D or E, but never C: I remove the disk, amendment the jumpers rear legs to where near were originally and put it fund in the unproved machine. I afterwards make a foreign Windows installation and install Service Pack Two if necessary. I consequently begin loading programs, first the video, nouns and printer drivers, then the the virus checker and after the remaining software in the command I use it most. This may help the most used programs human being all together, thus avoiding excessive disk read. Finally, I move my data over from D drive as and when I inevitability it. This is how I did it professionally and I never lost a thing. Good luck
you can install that dated hard disk to a working laptop, and backup anything u need.
next repartition, reformat and reinstall windows . it's the best opening, and don't think something like recovering file , lead to it's a hard work for some one who's not aware with that, and expensive if U don't want do it by yourself.
