How can i recover background from a cd ?

I have this cd whic contains amazingly important situation.
The fact is that the cd is neither scratched nor worn out but still whenever i try to open the cd it shows the cd uniform........
and moreover it shows 505 mb total space and 505 mb space left.....which money it contains the files i want.
Please help........its urgent.

It could be the drive is going unpromising, try to run it in an other computer. any instrument I use Roxio software to recover data, you click fix disc option and if the disc is bad it will update you and give you providence to copy the content of the CD to the unyielding drive.
