Can unproved data/programs be recovered from an unauthorized re-imaging of the unyielding drive?
Laptop is under warranty and be returned with re-imaged sturdy drive despite clear instructions by IT and a note from me not to do so. It be dropping sectors but adjectives MS Office applications and most other applications were working when I sent it within. The pc is presently stripped of all software except IE and is essentially useless since adjectives my programs/applications are gone. Am curious if the original programs and files can be restored and if so what it would cost (time and $). Someone posted elsewhere that copious places copy data formerly re-imaging the hard drive and is that sop surrounded by IT world? What should I ask the company to do at this point? (I don't want $- I want my data!)
Answers:
theres nought u can likely do .. they may hold put a new drive and imaged a system on it .. ur weak drive may be in the landfill ...
In a WORD NO! because you are presently using a different drive then what be in within originally. Another thing they did not re-image your drive. Had they did so you would still enjoy access to all of your software and applications. SO, IT IS NOT A RE-IMAGING OF ANY DRIVE!
