Is here a path to recover information from LaCie external strong drive?
One day it lately stopped working. I have tons of travel, and people pictures and over 6,000 songs. I plug it in and I maintain getting a pop up saying somthing similar to "error from I/O device". I hear it spinning, and th little light flashes red to red. I changed from 4 different USB outlets, and it still doesn't work. If I cannot recover it myself, do you think I could purloin it in to a place that does computer exact stuff?

unscrew the housing of the 'external hard drive case' and look and see if any wires enjoy come loose. if they have, plug them put a bet on in.
you should know how to see the hard drive and two wires coming from it one telecommunication handles the information transfer cable, and the other is the power cable.
