Can you recover background from a broken computer?

my computer broke and I have pictures of my dog that passed away and I stipulation to recover them... The problem is that the computer does not turn on... I recently bought a laptop. Do you know how I can recover the pictures? Please Help.... Thanks!

It depends on the condition of the Hard Drive inside of the computer. I'm going to guess that the Hard Drive is okay and the problem is near something else.

The easiest thing to do, is to give somebody a lift it to a local computer shop for them to retrieve your data for you.

If nearby is none close by, or you don't want to have to settle a lot, here is some other option:

You could put it in another desktop computer as a subsidiary drive and backup the pictures to a CD or DVD. If you don't own another desktop to put the hard drive within, you can buy an external hard drive suitcase. you would then use it close to an external drive and plug it into the laptop. You would be able to verbs the files or view them from near.

If it were me, I would remove the easier said than done drive(s) from the old computer, purchase an external compound for it (take it a Best Buy or something and they will tell you what description of enclosure you will obligation for your drive). You can then put the frail drive into the enclosure, after plug that into your laptop as if it were an external concrete drive (because essentially, that's exactly what you are turning it into). At that point, you can recover all of your files from the antiquated drive.

Unless the Hard Drive (even after, sometimes) is damaged later it's still on there.

It's a pretty simple fix in fact, they sell external concrete drive casings at most computer stores and on queue. Their cheap. Twenty dollars cheap. Those allow you to turn your hard drive into a portable one that connects near a regular ol' USB cable.
