How do I recover my laptop background??!! Or can I even do it...?
I recently purchased a Dell Studio 14 laptop from Best Buy. It come with Nortan Antivirus installed on it. Now, every once within a while, the Nortan program produces a little pop up porthole, asking me to restart my laptop in decree to install updates. I have done this several times up to that time with no problems, but I simply did it tonight and upon the computer restarting, it was returned to adjectives the original settings it come with when I first took it out of the box. My documents are gone, Microsoft is throwing its license agreement at me, my environment is the one that the computer came set up next to, and and my itunes is gone. Does ANYONE know what happened and if there's anyway I can recover what I lost? Please...HELP!

try restring your laptop with system restore and check to produce sure your all information is there on the hdd. at hand are recovery softwares which can recover data so that should not be a big problem
