i want to ask a question..
i get a 80GB Hard disk of Maxtor...
i got it packed with lot of stuff..
you know..
stuff full beside memory and many of them, i do not own BACK UP at all..
and..
suddenly (with heart-rending face and feeling)...
this unyielding disk is broken..
i think its burned because it leak burned smell at the serial port (SATA port)..
and i believed the platter is still ok and not burned..
So, the question is,
can i repair my not easy disk??
this hard disk??
basis, i watched the Prison Break series and scholarly that FBI can recover the data on broken rock-hard disk..
SO, is there anyone know where can i repair this hardisk??
or is nearby anyone can help me repair my concrete disk??
please help me..
it get a lot of my earth-shattering and precious things in it..
and if it can be repaired, can you by the style tell me the cost of repairment??
i'll consider it if the price is average...

If the motors inside are ok adjectives you need to do is to transmute the board with an exact one. If you don't have a spare transposable disk take it to a repair shop. The price is entirely dependent on your wallet and the greed of the shop guys.
