Answers:
it should in recuvas forums it mentions population having a clothed amount of success recovering delete information from a SD card as well as flash drives so why not a pen drive? on a side entry why not post your concerns on the recuva.com forums? Source(s): recuva.com forums
I am not sure if recuva.com will recover data from your pen-drive. But if you are looking for a program that will do that, I enjoy used Data Recovery by ParetoLogic successfully. I even recovered data from a friend's usb stick that have been password locked and he have forgotten the password.
well I comprehend your hesitation - the pen-drive is a SSD, while the HDD is a HDD. (HDD = Hard drive, SSD=Solid State Hard drive)
I am thinking as long as the profile structure is the same as on a HDD - ie FAT. Then delete should work basically like on a regular complex drive - it only removes the mention in the Table _where_ the record is. So until something overwrites the actual file location, it is still nearby.
How about this: Destroying HDD is complex, there are frequent recovery tactics to restore information from the platters of a HDD. But what can you restore from a smashed SSD?
