UNBEATEN CHALLENGE QUESTION-How to recover or dyscypt Encrypting File System (EFS) encrypted information?

I lost my computer data encrypted by Windows Encrypting File System. Knowing that I hold all .PFX and user passwords, I delete Windows completely. New installation did not provide access to data despite successfully import .PFX certificates. Data thumbprint did not clash to my saved .PFX certificate thumbprints.
For recovery I used data recovery software “Advanced EFS Data Recovery”. It shows almost adjectives scan keys decrypted but come to nothing to recover any EFS encrypted data. At this point I strongly grain that Microsoft should have made recovery possible contained by the presence of user password and .PFX certificates which are generate by Windows at one point of time after installation. I think I deserve PHD point on this observation since thousands of ethnic group lost their EFS encrypted data.
Is near anyone in the world could relate how to decrypt this data? It is flout question which remained unbeaten.

I'm not going to ring long distance, but I will give you an answer. There is singular one way to do it. You must login as the administrator.

The NTFS record system offers the advanced Encrypting File System (EFS) deposit feature. With EFS, you can choose to encrypt files and folders by going to the folder’s Advanced Properties. It is best to encrypt the folder instead of encrypting the individual files. Encrypting at the folder horizontal helps ensure that individual files are not unexpectedly decrypted. Even if someone gain access to the file, ex. by stealing your laptop, stealing the disk on which you copied the database, or inserting the hard drive into another computer, he cannot decrypt the profile and see your information.

Each file have a unique public push button and private key i.e. created automatically. The public key encrypts the database. The private key decrypts the report. Encrypted data is merely available to those who are authorized to see the data. EFS is integrated beside the file system making it more difficult to attack and easier for you to direct. Once you choose to encrypt a file, the actual process of background encryption and decryption is completely transparent and requires nothing on your segment. Accessing an encrypted file or folder will increase the CPU work nouns as the operating system has to decrypt the files for the user and afterwards encrypt the files when the user is finished working on them. A private key is automatically created to decrypt files and folders on the computer to be precise using the encryption. It is stored in the user’s profile. If this private switch gets delete, the user’s encrypted files will become inaccessible. Therefore, be very practical with this private knob. The private key permit can be exported to a password protected .pfx file, save to a disk, and then moved to a out of harm`s way location in crust the original private switch is lost, deleted, or become corrupted.

If the user who encrypted the folders or files is unavailable to decrypt the folders or files when needed, you can use the background recovery agent (DRA) to access the encrypted files. DRAs are implemented differently depending on the revision of your operating system and the configuration of your computer. The administrator is automatically configured the role of DRA or you can assign the role to a different user.

After you recover the data, click the properties and you should know how to decrypt the data. Source(s): MCP 70-270
Absolutely impossible short the original password, if memory serves.

But, try this: Source(s): http://www.crackpassword.com/products/pr…
