Recover Data from DVD disc?
My DVD disc is not a re-writable disc and by mistake I have overwrite another database but I have not erage the existing notes. How do I recover the old background. Please help me

Sorry dude. You can't recover that information. Its been overwritten..
If the DVD is NOT rewritable, you cannot write to used parts of it a second time. Where you can write to is controlled by your software. So how did you have power over to overwrite anything on it?
So you could not overwrite, so your old information should still be there.
If you are using a DVD-R disk, which can not be erased or re-recorded, later both files should still be on the disk. But you may only know how to see the one from the program you were using to write the database, if the new one have the same christen as the old.
Open Windows Explorer, (not Internet Explorer) and click on the DVD drive god with the disk contained by the drive. You should see all the files that are on the disk. There may be two files next to the same designation, or a file explicitly XXXX.XXX and a second that is call XXXX(2).XXX .
Double click on one of the files and let it instigate. If this is not the correct file, later close it and go wager on into Window explorer and double click on the other file.
If Windows Explorer will not show the other files, they own to be there if it is a DVD-R, consequently you may need to buy a notes recovery program. It will analyze the data on the disk and can locate where on earth the start and stop points of the files are, and allow you to open them and hide away under a foreign name. Not sure what the cost of such a progran would be.
