How to recover background from intricate disks?
ive got a IBM Deskstar 7200rpm 76.8GB. Makes the marked clicking noise. it have a 16 head or 15 principal clip, 32GB or auto spin disable clip. The OS dosent detect it but the bios does. does any1 have any program to resolve it?
"> By truism "the OS doesn't detect it", I'm assuming that this is a secondary drive. I would double check the jumper on the drive itself and make sure you own it set up as a "slave" drive. If this was the primary drive within a computer in the recent past and you've now pulled it to recover facts from it, it may be jumpered to "master" - which should be your system drive.
The drive itself should have somewhat legend on it to update you where you inevitability to place the jumper(s) to work as a "slave" or secondary drive.
