Recovering notes on a knotty drive?
I moved data from my unyielding drive to an external hard drive that have failed. Can I recover the notes from the original drive even though I own moved it?

If it was a newer Xtrnl easier said than done drive, the platters are ceramic and they are expected powder = destroyed. If shaken & you hear particles sloshing around it's a washout.
Some metallic platter drives may survive.
