Can i recover any of my facts?
ok here's the deal, i give a computer to a friend of mine, before i did i wipe the hard drive near a program i got on column, reinstalled windows using the installation disc and formatted the tough drive.
however, info i THOUGHT i had properly copied somehow get lost, is there anyway i can purloin it to some electronics place or something to see if it can be recovered?
i stand to lose some valuable post, photos and fiancial information ,money is not an object, is it salvagable?

unless your a computer tech you should not be unfolding people things you know zilch about. adjectives data is not lost simply waiting to be written over. if he get it intime he should be able to obtain the information.
Try this it should get the info. and it could cost you allot more afterwards what this will.
If you format the pc yo are okay. But if you format and reinstall the OS over the current one than your facts is more-than-likely gone forever. You can try a file recovery program but don't catch your hopes up.
