My western digital harddrive have crashed i installed alien one, presently can i recover any information from it.?
Answers:
You can try data recovery softwares such as SoftPerfect Recovery, Tokiwa Data Recovery, Recuva, Pandora Recovery, PC Inspector Recovery, and others.
I'm sure you can take back your facts. Source(s): http://datarecoverydownload.blogspot.com
If you can get it plugged contained by as a secondary drive or external USB drive (need a USB adapter for any IDE or SATA, whichever type you have) and spun up, maybe you can recover some/all of the notes.
It all depends of what type of 'crash' it have. If it's a head crash, where on earth one of the heads touches the spinning background surface, sometimes CHKDSK can repair errors enough to read the disk, or most of it.
As a *last ditch effort* I read roughly speaking putting the drive in a freezer purse and putting it in the freezer for a few hours. Take it out and spin it up as like a shot as possible. There's all sorts of pro/con debate out here about this, but I inform you I've done it twice now on customer's disks that we couldn't read and I completed up getting 100% of the data rotten both of them. They only stayed up for a few minutes beforehand 'crashing' or spinning down again. Another trip to the freezer, 3 times for one of them, but persistence compensated off. It seem to 'shrink the metal just slightly satisfactory to alleviate the space between the read heads and the drive surface (picture an ancient phonograph and needle. Only surrounded by a hard drive the 'needle' is never supposed to in truth touch the surface, just ride over it. A 'head crash' is when the read guide touches the surface.)
If the disk is getting hot quickly it could a defective circuitry, as it be with another disk I have. Freezing it didn't change a entry. Can't win 'em all.
Good luck.
That depends on how your other HDD crashed. If it crashed and the read write chief is no longer allowing you to gether data afterwards there is no process without sending it rotten. Otherwise you could just plug it surrounded by and transfer the facts without a hitch since it completely died on you.
Now, you could try spinrite or another program that will try and fix it but not having a backup of information is costly because things crash and it is expensive to get things recovered professionally. Source(s): Computer Tech.
