Windows XP Prof. system crashed. Imp background on desktop. How to recover protected notes on another device?
Data is in Docements and Settings folder. When we enlarge it "Access is denied" message received. How to open this protected folder on another system.

Well you could any use a Linux Live CD, and access the files within C:\documents settings\user\ etc...
or hook up the hard drive to another computer and do like thing. As long as the window thats being run is the one from the other computer
if your frozen drive is okay , then u might try to insert your concrete drive into another computer, (BUT REMEMBER THAT U SHOULD NOT REMOVE THE PREVIOUS HARD DRIVE IN THE OTHER COMPUTER) then, boot up the computer near the OS present in the computer. Then check up and create a backup of your files. If this does not work, consequently do insert a cd of another OS, then install the other OS, and after u can open the files and create the backup of it.
