Help recovering notes from a HP laptop HD?
My HP pavillion's motherboard recently cooked, but the rock-hard drive is ok. i can pull it out, which ive done, and i be wodnering how to get the information off of it. I'm unseal to using it as an external hard drive, but i cant determine the type of HD it is. Its not EIDE, but the connectors are vertical pins and its designed so you can slide it surrounded by vertically. any help? its a Hitatchi brand HD.

Just lift your hard drive to Office Max or an electronics store and ask the sale tech for the correct hard drive pen.
They will be glad to help and you will know it is the correct ring.
