I saved some facts on a memory stick after I had used microsoft worksdatabase on my window xp laptop. I then tried to depart the saved notes using Vista but I could not. I was given the route to use the web to check which program I have used since I had forgotten it later and I dont remember what I clicked but now it looks approaching I have lost adjectives the data.( I checked it again using Xp but adjectives is distorted). Is it possible for me to correct the situation
Answers:
Don't try to open or do anything near the file, as you may produce it unrecoverable.
My advice would be to progress here
http://www.microsoft.com/products/works/default.mspx
and ask in the forum.
Recovery software will merely recover files, it won't repair them.
you might be using different versions of microsoft department. The latest book saves as a different format. the best path would be to go fund to the office and undo the file. Then choose collect as access 2002-2003 database and it will work on all MS access version.
