Any process to recover lost background from cell memory card?

I have that stupid LG Rumor, and i've have non stop problems with it. I turned it on in the future,and it said "memory abort," with my memory card still contained by it, and it erased EVERYTHING, videos, pictures and music. I'm uper ticked because i have tons of memories on there. My kitten freshly recently died, and the solitary pics i had of her be on my cell phone and they got erased too, so does anybody know of a method that i can possible retrieve all my notes back?
