Recovering by mistake closed information -- Microsoft Excel?

I accidentally closed a spreadsheet I've been working on for hours and did not collect it. I am familiar beside an AutoRecover feature, but I hold no idea how to access it.

PLEASE develop me on how I can recover this file!

Also, I would prefer not to download third body programs (such as Uneraser, Office Salvage, etc.) to bring this file fund.
Answers:
I believe the Auto-Recover feature is for astonishing closings of a program (i.e., when it crashes). It normally initializes itself on the subsequent start following a crash, etc.

Next: Find a backup/temp file? I regularly search (Start Button --> Search --> Files/Folders) for...

1) All files + delineate the date to the day you be working on it. See what comes up!

2) Search for *.xls (Excel files) on your entire hard disk. You may find something within a temp folder.

3) Search for *.bak (Office backup).

If that doesn't work...out of (my) luck! Though turning on "Auto-Save" may be a good step to avoid this surrounded by the future. Look contained by Tools --> Options; set the time interval to whatever you dream up is best.
