Hard drive within an coop very soon renowned as USB device. How to fix or recover/move facts?
I had a Western Digital My Book and the power supply died a year ago, so removed the sturdy drive and placed it in an work area. It had be working fine until recently. Now none of my PCs authorize it as a hard drive anymore. I hold tried a few PCs with no nouns. I placed the hard drive surrounded by a new stall that I previously verified as working. Now when I plug up this hard drive, Windows begin to install device drivers. It recognizes my complex drive as a USB device instead of the hard drive. Any design on how to fix the issue? If the hard drive is in a minute fried, any ideas on how to recover the background?

Apparently the drive could not be read at adjectives at that point.
