Any free means of access to recover my information from my PSP memory stick?
I had a computer that have a virus on it so I decided to try to copy some totally important files that I have on my computer to my memory stick before I reinstalled the OS on my computer. I have already had my music and my pictures I made(yes I form my own music) on my psp and after I copied some files I knew to be safe(virus free) because I have them on my computer before I have any viruses on my computer. So afterwards I copied the files to my psp and then I reinstalled my OS (XP) on my computer again. Now my computer works fine but the problem is very soon my PSP's memory stick isn't working, it keeps asking me if I want to format the memory stick respectively time I try to open it from my computer. The memory stick I believe be in some (Fat32 perchance?) file system but very soon its in RAW format. I know in attendance are shareware programs that can recover the data that I enjoy on my Memory stick but they force you to pay for it if you want to in actuality recover the files, which i think is pure evil. Now what I'm looking for is a way(that's free) or program(freeware) that can scan the memory stick (yes even if its RAW format) and allow me to recover the files on my memory stick. All of the freeware programs I hold found have gvien me errors when I tried to access or scan the drive for files.
For my computer I own a internal memory car reader that go in one of the floppy drive slots on my computer so yes I'm competent to connect the memory stick to my computer. every time I go to my computer it give me the fabled "Drive not formatted would you like to format this drive now" error. And no for the love of god I'm not clicking yes to "do you want to format this drive?". I'm desperate right in a minute because I don't want to pay for any program, and the files on that memory stick are non recoverable if truly lost, so I'm here to enunciate if anyone provides me with an answer that provides adequate details and solves my question I will impart 10 points to the person who solves my cross-question.
