Can an IT repair technician recover my sensitive background?
I have since re-installed my operating system (vista, I did delete window old) but a fault have developed and I have sent it for repair. The background is a mixture of financial information and passwords for sites located in my previous internet history
If they desperately want to, they can (unless when you reinstalled you used a 'shredder' tool).
Most techies will just browse your current installation for dodgy pictures and stuff instead though, as trying to read old background is time-consuming and tends to hold very little reward.
Yes....But they customarily don't bother to look at anything...its normally straight on to the bench and hit "Factory reset" it will be scrub then...unless you as expected asked for it to be kept, in which armour they won't do a factory reset..........But, the answer to your question is a emphatic yes.
"> If you completely wipe your old OS next you shouldn't have any cached files of financial information or passwords.
If I be you, instead of spending the money to have someone look at it, basically go support in and install your spanking new OS while reformatting.
you can use this software to recover your lost data from a pendrive:
DDR - Pen Drive Recovery(Demo)
