Recovering facts from erased intricate drive, really entail some relieve?
Short version. I own 2 HDD's in my PC. One is a hackintosh OS X Leopard (please, no angry comments give or take a few this), and the other Windows Vista with several partition on it. The Windows HDD was erased by the Mac HD for use next to Time Machine, and now I can't boot past its sell-by date of it or access it. I'm pretty sure the whole drive be erased. How can I recover my data?
Long copy. My PC came next to a HDD with Vista installed. Since consequently, I've partitioned it several times. I have a fence for Vista, for Windows 7, and recently made one for Time Machine, which I'll bring back to in a sec.
My other HDD is Mac OS X Leopard. I hack this on my PC and use it daily. Hackintosh's are other unstable, and an update broke it. I reinstalled and decided to start using Time Machine backup. I made a 150GB partition on my Windows HDD and go into Time Machine to format the new Time Machine barrier. The wizard said to select my partition, which I did, next told me to select Erase, which I did. I never figured it would erase my entire Windows HDD, but it did. Now when I try to boot stale of it, it says "Missing Operating System". I have 350GB of data on my Windows HDD and would be crushed if I lost it adjectives.
The thing is, I'm pretty sure I didn't Format my window HDD, I only "Erased" it. I'm not sure it make a difference, but I need a method of recovering my background.
It was a long story, but please lend a hand.

If it was erased, it will most possible be all gone. If you back up the drive you are safe if you kept the piece you backed up on to, save, sorry. This happened to me to when I be building a PC a few months back, and I have re-install everything from scratch.
Try booting beside the Vista or Windows 7 install/recovery disk and see if it can find the partitions and fix them
If not try software similar to

Or boot with a Linix Live disc - they are free Ubuntu Knoppix etc and look for your files and copy if you can.

Formatting with the sole purpose gets rid of the notes visually, it's still there, as long as it wasn't over written by other notes. Download a program like File Scavenger and check out the hdd for files still available. You will need to install XP again. You will call for to get adjectives your files off the HDD beside File Scavenger before reinstalling a spanking new OS.
