How can I recover a strong disk notes?

I accidentally clicked something in the window xp recovery screens and it begin formatting my hard disk. In a couple second, I turned the PC off and presently the disk is not readable. Is there a apt software to use to recover the data? I'd close to to just reverse the formatting sooner retaining the "bootable" status instead of just recovering files. Also, if I do hold to just recover files, can it retain the directory structures?
"> you must hold done something to your windows...
immediately...
format the windows using a window cd....
format only the c drive....
and afterwards you can recover data contained by all other drives...

Hope this help...
You would need to do a network search for software to unformat the tough drive, which in some instances, merely reverse what happened and puts it backbone to the previous state However there is no guarantee that this would work lacking testing it on some other firm drive. The old Norton Disk Utilities have programs that would do this, but these had to be installed on the computer itself. You might try a Linux LiveCD to see if here are any files you can recover to an external hard drive or a flash drive. I don't enjoy an answer to this specific question and the other answer in the order of reinstall Windows, seems to be the logical answer.
