How much does it cost to recover roughly 150GB of facts from a knotty drive to be exact malfunctioning?

I have a Seagate 300GB knotty drive, recently my PC stopped recognize it and it made a strange grinding noise when it be on. I haven't got the first clue on how to access the drive. I hear data recovery be outrageously priced. But I'm just trying to get hold of a ball park integer.
Answers:
My company had to do that a couple times and it cost them $3000 once and $5000 the second time.
Data recovery from rugged disc is possible in faultless cases like unplanned deletions, not easy disc failures etc. I find the information at http://fixit.in/datarecovery.html is more useful…..! Source(s): http://fixit.in/datarecovery.html
Yes it usually is remarkably expensive. But try installing this drive as a second drive on another system, see if it recognized and see if you can access it nearby. Also, search teh trellis, there are some tools availabe that can do sleight of hand stuff with defective drives. Good luck!
