RECOVERING JAVA FILES TO PROPERLY REMOVE JAVA AFTER PERMANENT DELETING.?

HELLO GUYS. i recently installed java on my laptop and i be trying to manually delete firefox to reinstall and i delete all my java files... from my java installation... presently my recycling bin automatically delete it all. So very soon its not allowing me to reinstall it over the current broken java(no files for it) yet it is still showing up contained by my add/remove programs list and wont tolerate me remove it. and i wanted to know how can i delete it so i can do a current installation of it. tyvm btw i have window xp service pack 3

What i would do personally is install it on another user consequently copy the files over to yours, that would prolly be the best way.
