Can I recover files if I've delete them?

I think I made a huge mistake! I delete all the files I have in "my pictures" thinking it would free up some space and that I have the copies stored in Picasa and HP essential. So I delete them and emptied the recycle bin. When I go to check the copies, they were adjectives gone on in both places, too! I'm really freaking out!! Is within any possible way to restore them? Why did it delete them from adjectives places when I was simply in my pictures folder? Help....my energy was contained by those pics!!

First off don't hysterics.

They could possibly be restored - but a software purchase may be required. Don't install anything new except this program. Installing a unmarked application will most likely overwrite where on earth the images be located on the hard drive.
