Help! How to recover delete files surrounded by XP?

I'm such an idiot! I am a beginner next to Picasa and I thought the files it was showing me be only files it have uploaded to the program, so I started deleting things right and disappeared that I didn't want in my Picasa folder. Now I've discovered that ALL the files I only just didn't want there own been delete from my computer! This happened roughly speaking 20 minutes ago and I've been Googling for answers. I tried System Restore, but it be turned off, so no luck at hand. I also tried downloading Uneraser, but no luck with that any.

ANY tips greatly appreciated!!

Download recover software, recommended one is asoftech photo recovery. I used it before it worked very well for me.

Install and open asoftech photo recovery, select your memory drive, and click recover button. Source(s): http://www.asoftech.com/apr/
1) System Restore have nothing to do near files. It restores registry backups.

2) If you sent the files to the recycle bin (what happen when you press the Delete key or select Delete from the right-click menu), you can progress to the recycle bin, right-click on the files and restore them.

3) If you really deleted them, try REST2514. It's an undelete program, it's free, and it doesn't enjoy to be installed (you can run it from a flash drive), so it can't overwrite the deleted files (which can evolve any time you write anything to the hard drive until you restore the files you deleted).

Use the UNDELETE option and investigate for *.jpg or your used sort of picture data.

First bad don't turn off your computer...tons times a computer does not actually delete the profile right away it simply changes a few things surrounded by the code to make the database "disappear" although it has not but been removed/overwritten.

Try the program "folder scavenger" available on CNET, it's free to try. I would just download it and next delete it once your done using it

Here's another that is completely FREE

Don't do anything else, delete files aren't really deleted, they are basically marked to be overwritten. There are programs to do this but they typically run 50-80 dollars.
Hmmm, this sounds like you may call for a data recovery program. With the right software you can restore files that be lost or permanently delete. It’s actually pretty cool.
