Recover lost/deleted files?

My computer died. The system administrators put a strange image on it, is at hand any software that might find files that were nearby before it died?

bar a ghost software, or your IT department doing something I don't know. Wait. here are companies that specialise in facts recovery but it could be expensive.
You might be able to find them using Fix It Utilities folder undeleter. Source(s): I've used file undeleter.
There are some free programs that will do the trick you can pick up UNDELETE for in the region of 40 bucks. Or if you HDD crashes you can spend 900 bucks but I would do the UNDELETE program it easy to use and works terrifically very all right.
