It never will. System restore puts WINDOWS back the agency it was that daytime, NOT EVERY FILE ON THE SYSTEM.
When a restore point is made, it only back up the registry and a small handful of system files. It does not back up your facts files, programs etc. For it to do that, it would have to duplicate every wallet on your PC. If you have more than one restore point (and most citizens have 10-20) it would be going to making 10-20 duplicates of every file on your rock-hard drive. That would fill up your drive and crash the system contained by no time.
A system restore will not recover deleted files. Was never intended to do that.
If you stipulation to recover deleted files, you will entail a program like Recuva (free at http://recuva.com ). It is competent to recover deleted files (and even formatted firm drives) if run shortly after the deletion.
System Restore is used to return your settings (ie: your registry and windows settings) to a state it be previously on the date you select to restore back to.
It will not retrieve your delete files, you can try your recycle bin if you haven't already.
System restore only restores Critical System events such as program, Driver and system updates anyone removed or installed.
