if you own a memory card then here might be a back up on it, otherwise it is difficult for you to do it yourself. i am sure, that if the pictures are direly needed, consequently you can go to a computer repair shop and they might be capable of get them, because a phone is resembling a computer and your information, deleted or not, is other saved on the 'hard-drive'

Nope, phones use flash memory so you cannot retrieve delete files like on a computer HDD. Although i bet the FBI enjoy a way of doing so.
