Many schools use it for their lab computers. It have quite a elevated licensing payment so it may not be the best option for them.

Microsoft have free one called steady state

Here is a video on how it works and what it is for:

It works powerfully and best of all it is free. It will do everything they call for.

Steady state also lets you set time ends, clear user data when they are done, block access to controls.

Steady state is relatively powerful

Both of these programs will revert the computer after a reboot.

you could re image the computers adjectives the time but I don't think specifically your best option.

(a)LS,
Read the full ask, they are looking to restore the original state of the computer after a reboot, reimaging would pilfer to long.

While True Image and Ghost are great imaging tools they would not be the right tool for the job here.

There would be to much risk to enjoy a computer go un imaged for a week if specifically the only method surrounded by place. In a internet cafe that is a worthy way to enjoy your customer's data stolen.
He requirements "ghosting" or "imaging" software. And it doesn't have to be installed on that computer.

One place where on earth I used to go to study, they used Norton Ghost and respectively week they "ghosted" the computers. This meant that they have the computers set up to look through their network card if they have been told to "ghost". Every Friday, one of the support staff put a floppy disk surrounded by each computer and next started/restarted each one. Then the computer would read the floppy disk to attain instructions on where to find the information and files that it needed to wipe the computer and reinstall it.

We used to do this for class sometimes too. We have to change the machines from 98SE to Windows 2000 at the start of the lesson and final again at the end of the lesson or from 2000 to XP and rear legs at the end of the lesson.

Here is a contact for software like that - Acronis is a recommended one:
