Does memory card recovery software really work?
has anyone used it? does it certainly work? how effective is it and can you recommend any? gratefulness in mortgage

depends how long ago you need to recover from.
They do work but it depends on whether you hold over written the data or formatted your memory card.as to how important they are.

My dad had software that recovered stuff on complicated drives so yeah I'd say it works for memory cards too.
My CF card worked contained by my camera - but my computer wouldn't recognize it, and my stand-alone printer said it have no photos on it.
I used "CardRecovery" and it found all 500+ pictures straight away.
To check the pro gramme out (once I got my pics back) I formatted the card twice (Quick and next full) and the software STILL found all the pictures.
