How upright is report recovery software?
Hubby did a system recovery on our PC without aid up my files (the whoel years worth). Yes, my fault for one lazy & not support them up on a regular basis, but lesson intellectual... anyway, all of my pics, video, excel spreadsheets etc are gone. How good are these database recovery software out there that claim they can recover these delete files?? Are they only worthy for if you accidentally delete something & clear it from your recycle bin, or will it recover the lost files from the system recovery? The PC was recovered vertebrae to factory defaults...

no matter what type of deletion you do, the files are other on your computer. the long-short of it is, whenever you delete a file(s), they get splashed as deleted and are no longer recognizable/reachable/known to the OS. So when the OS/hdd requirements to save background it writes to the location that is know stained as free space, which is essentially just overwriting the behind the times data.
The recovery is base on two things.
1 - if you have overwritten any of these memory locations however
2 - how good the recovery software is.

But the answer is as simple as some one describe below, every file is stored within a computer system only the address of the database will change to its actual position that's why report not found while you search surrounded by your computer. I don't know about other but I trust on stellar report recovery software which recovers your data surrounded by any situation.
