I've checked a few websites including Dell and can't find free installation software for my Dell 720 printer. Any ideas what I should do or websites where on earth this software is downloadable free?

You don't need software, you have need of the priinter drivers, go to the businessman website, look for a support tab, and there should be the alternative to download the driver, and it is free.
